There are computer Programming and Graphics clubs, for Gifted and Talented children, on Wednesday lunch times (12.30 to 13.00 hrs) that are run by Mrs. Carroll and Mr. Fidler.

Mrs. Carroll also operates a Homework Club on other lunchtimes, to enable children who do not have computers at home, to access the computers in school :
  • Year 3/4 children on Mondays.
  • Year 5/6 children on Tuesdays.
  • Foundation Stage 2, Year 1 and Year 2 children on Thursdays.
Bielefeld School would like to thank the teachers, parents and staff who run our school clubs unpaid for their hard work, dedication and commitment. If you have an interest or skill, which you feel would be suitable for a club activity, or you would just like to help out voluntarily, please do contact the school's Office Manager. The contact details are on this page.

Bielefeld School would also like to thank the HCSO for its kind support in providing transportation, so that our children can access clubs out of school hours. Please note that bus journeys for after school clubs can be longer than normal, as routes are often combined.

Please also note that it may be necessary sometimes to cancel clubs at short notice. On these occasions, children are likely to arrive home at the end of the school day, on their normal bus. Parents and carers must, therefore, have contingency plans for these occasions.
Best wishes,

Mark Westmoreland

PS Our Wider Opportunities Programme continues to provide children with excellent chances to learn to play a musical instrument during and after school hours.

PPS There is also a Youth Club for children in Years 5 and 6, which is hosted by the Army Welfare Service on the top floor of the school. Please contact the AWS, if your child would like to attend the Youth Club.
