FS2 News Week 40

We would like to thank all of the parents and carers who attended our Maths Open Morning today. It was lovely for both staff and children to see so many of you in FS2.

Warm, Waterproof Clothing: Most children are now bringing warm, waterproof clothing to school in order to explore, investigate and learn in the Outside Area. Please ensure that your child has a waterproof coat and wellington boots every day at school. Thank you.

Environmental Walk: The children thoroughly enjoyed exploring outside during their Environmental Walk on Wednesday. They have talked about some of the natural objects that they saw and found, and made “Journey Sticks” with some of the objects.

Homework: Please do enjoy an autumnal walk with your children this weekend, weather permitting. We would like every child to collect one or two special leaves that they find on the ground. Please also collect any other natural objects, such as pine cones and beech nuts, and bring them to school on Monday. We will use these natural objects for a variety of maths activities next week. Again, thank you.
