Year 6 Week 43 2012

‘Posh Poppies Intl’, as our Y6 poppy business has become known, is enjoying huge success! In our first week of trading, we have raised more than €80 for The Royal British Legion. We also took our first online order from the UK.

Our creative homework project for our ‘Just War?’ topic has been launched today. Please find details in the ‘Creative Challenge’ envelope. The children were involved in deciding the range of activities to choose from.

Year 6's Big Write - Note The Poppy!
For mathematics homework this week, we would like both groups to practise the times tables from page 135 of the School Planner. Focus on the multiplication tables that need improvement.

Please join us for our Remembrance Assembly on Friday 9th November. Y6 will lead the school in prayer and reflection, as well as sharing some of our learning outcomes from this half term.

We bid a fond farewell to Ethan and Lydia, who are moving on to new schools after half term. Have a safe, relaxing break and we look forward to hearing all about it when we return on Monday 5th November.
