Year 6 Week 48 2012

Checking The Ingredients
Year 6 have had another brilliant week. We have been investigating farming, food production and rationing during WWII. The children have researched wartime recipes and some of us made an egg-less cake.

Thank you to all of the children, parents and carers who have sent in their creative homework projects. They are fantastic! Certificates and feedback sheets will be awarded next week.

Any remaining creative homework projects should be handed in by Monday 03 December at the latest.

Homework this week: Miss Graham’s group should make a poster showing the different written methods they know how to use for +, -, x and ÷ calculations, including examples. Miss Barker’s group have data handling questions relating to pie charts. All maths homework is due in on Wednesday.
Watching A Film On WWII Farming Methods

Most children have returned their London trip questionnaire, Titch Theatre Euro and King’s Christmas Fair letters – thank you. Please could any remaining letters and/or money be sent in as soon as possible.

Thank you for your continued support, have a great weekend.
