Dental Visit

On Tuesday, Year 4 visited the dental hygienists who spoke about the importance of healthy teeth and gums, as well as good ideas for avoiding painful trips to the Dentist.

Twice yearly inspections can help to give straight, white teeth into adulthood
Book a free dental inspection for your child(ren) now on 0521 9254 3161.

School Clubs

The school clubs, running this summer term, are:
  • Glee Club (on Tuesday with Miss Reed),
  • Kwik Cricket (also on Tuesday, Mr. Layh-Humpheys) and
  • Enterprise Club (Thursday, Mr. Fidler).
There are also Street Dancing clubs at lunchtimes, for both key stages, with Mrs. Sharrock and The School Band with Mr. Reeves on Thursday.

If your child would like to attend these clubs, they should ask their class teacher initially.

Packed Lunches

We are very proud of our Healthy School status and most children attend daily with healthy snacks and lunch boxes that would make Jamie Oliver proud.

However, a small number of children arrive with food and drink containing too much fat, sugar and salt.

School Bus Notification

We are very grateful to the majority of parents and carers who let us know in good time that their child(ren) are not taking the school bus on certain days.

You can make a simple note in your child(ren)’s learning journal(s) and we will do the rest.

Thank you for helping us with your child(ren)’s safety!
