Year FS1 Week 38 2013

It's A Daddy Long Legs In Our Garden!
Well, Autumn officially begins on Sunday but we have already tasted a little bit of Autumnal weather this week. So, please make sure that you check the weather forecast and that your children come to school dressed for outside play in the garden.

Also, please make sure you have written names clearly onto coats, scarves and gloves, in readiness for the colder days. The children are getting really good at changing into their 'wellies' to go outside. It’s amazing how many of them can zip up their coats, all on their own!

Snack next week will be: tomato soup and rolls, croissants and petit pains, spaghetti hoops on toast, Madeleine cakes and savoury wraps. We would like to thank those of you who have already paid your snack bills. Please send your money into school in a named envelope.

In Our New Outdoor Play House
We have already received some lovely Magic Rainbow Moments that you and your children have enjoyed. Please continue to send them in and see them displayed near the door.

Your child’s Key Worker keeps the Home School Contact Book every Thursday, to give you an update on what your child has been doing during the week. Having such a busy day with your children means that there is not time to write in the book every day. Do speak to your Key Worker at the end of the day, if you have any concerns, or you just want some information.

The dates for this term’s INSET closures are Thursday 03 October and Friday 04 October. There will be no school for any children on these days. Remember that the 03 October is a German Bank Holiday, for Re-unification Day.
