Year 4 Week 25 2014

Year 4 scrutinizing maps of Roman London
In literacy this week Miss Mead’s class have been working on their persuasive leaflets about the Tier park and Mrs Westmoreland’s class have been completing reading assessments and making fact pages about Ancient London.

In maths, Miss Mead’s group have been finding the perimeter and area of compound shapes while Mrs Westmoreland’s group have been working on division facts and completing assessments.

In technology with Mr Fidler they have been using levers to make moving parts and in Science this week the children have been working on food chains and food webs.

Well Done to all the children for working so hard on all their assessments over the last two weeks. They have worked really hard and we are very proud of them.

Over the final weeks of this term could the children keep on recording their home reading in their journals as we pass these up to their next teacher.

Have a lovely weekend! Emma Mead, Liz Westmoreland
