|Big Maths, This Morning|
We have continued to study the legend of Robin Hood in Literacy. The children explored different versions of the story and made comparisons between them. We have then focussed on the beginning part of the story, retelling the opening scenes as a ‘whoosh’ and ‘talk for writing’ the part when Robin Hood meets Little John for the first time.

We have begun our rounders ‘season’ this week with our first session focussing on throwing for accuracy as well as distance, and then developing our catching skills. Then incorporating these skills during a rounders match. We have also continued with our tennis sessions and the children were working on developing their racket and ball skills to play simple rally games.
- The children have brought home some homework from Drama this week, looking at the character of Robin Hood using different sources.
