Year 6 Week 26 2014

Year 6 Loitering, With A Tent
We had a wonderful time at L├╝beck and I’m sure you’ve heard all about our adventures by now. The children were an absolute credit to themselves and parents alike. We were awash with compliments from members of the public about how lovely the children were and I couldn’t agree more.

This week the children have been preparing for their next overnight stay. This time they have been practising how to put up the tents they will need when they stay at Sir John Mogg School in Detmold for their overnight Forest Schools visit.

For maths homework this week, please can the children complete the questions set up on Mathletics. When the children log-in, a set of questions should appear automatically – please let me know if you have any difficulties accessing the questions.

For English, I would like to challenge the children to read every night this week! For those book worms amongst the class – try to read something you wouldn’t normally choose – perhaps a non-fiction book?
