Year 3 Week 28 2014

Year 3 practising for next week's
Summer Music Concert
A week which saw many of the children graduate from the Children’s University. It was great to see so many parents at the ceremony. Congratulations to those who received recognition for their learning outside of school!

In English we have been developing our persuasive writing skills by producing a travel brochure for the Greek Tourist Board.

Mr Kerray’s mathematics group have been revising their number bonds and Mr Askew’s group have been using protractors to measure angles.

In PE we practised our throwing, jumping and sprinting skills.

Art this week saw the children finish off their project which involved experimenting with colour.

There is no homework now until after the holidays but a big thank you for your support with this  throughout the year!

  • Please remember a daily reading session of about 10 minutes will really help your child’s progress. Also a few questions about what they have read will help aid comprehension.
  • Please bring in P.E kits on Monday -  these will be sent home on Fridays.
Many Thanks for your continued support! Mr Askew and Mr Kerray
