Year FS1 Week 39 2014

Reading to, with and for children ...
just like our parents and carers, thank you!
It’s hard to believe that September is nearly over and the children have been in school for 4 weeks. They become more confident with each day and really enjoy the activities on offer.

Yesterday the children experienced “parachute” games in the gym for the first time and loved it.

Next week we will celebrate “Oktoberfest” and learn a little about Germany since the 3rd October is a German holiday for “Re-unification Day”. Remember shops will be closed that day.

The children were brilliant waiting for their photographs to be taken and we were so proud of them. Order forms for photos will come in about three or four weeks.

In case you have not noticed already, you will find log-in details for Education City at the front of their Home/School Journals.

Snack next week: Beans on toast, waffles and Oktoberfest brezeln, sausages with ketchup & mayo.

Dates for your calendar:-
School closed Thursday 2nd and Friday 3rd October.
Half term is Monday 27th October to Friday 31st October.

If you have any worries or concerns, please feel free to contact us straight away, we are more than happy to help sort out any problems, big or small.

Thank you for your support, The FS1 Team
