In Literacy, we have used our “Talk for Writing” to retell the whole story “The Tiger Who Came to Tea” by Judith Kerr. The children have used the time connectives “One day”, “Then”, “Next” and “Finally” to sequence the story, when retelling and writing.
In Mathematics, we have been practising the number bonds to 5, 6 and 10. The children have used dominoes and dice to explore different ways of making 7. We have also been busy using addition facts to solve subtraction problems. E.g. 3+7=10, 7+3=10, 10-7=3, 10-3=7.
