Year FS1 Week 46 2014

Children in Need, today!
We have had a busy week making lanterns, discovering how to mix colours together and comparing light and dark. We even talked about how to keep safe in the dark by wearing reflective clothing and wearing light clothes that can be seen in the dark.

Thank you for coming to our Pudsey Stay and Play today. It was lovely to see so many of you. I hope you enjoyed it as much as the children did. The children really enjoyed decorating their Pudsey biscuits and showing off their “Singing Phonics” songs.

Keeping life in balance
Next week we start a new topic “The Gingerbread Man”. If you have a copy of the story at home, please read it to your child or even send it in for us to read to the children.

Snack next week:  Spaghetti hoops on toast, sponge cake and custard, bagels & Philly, ham & cheese baguettes and savoury wraps

Dates for your calendar: the end of the Autumn term is Friday 19th December. Please note there will no afternoon EDC that day. Spring term will start on Tuesday 6th January as Monday 5th January is an Inset day for teachers and the school will be closed.

Thank you for your support, The FS1 Team
