Year FS1 Week 49 2014

All togged up
with somewhere to go!
The children have really enjoyed learning their songs for the Nativity play. It’s quite amazing how quickly they have learned words as well as the tunes.

We hope you will be able to practise the songs at home over the weekend too. Remember, the performance will take place in the gym on Thursday 11th December at 10.00 a.m. and this will be followed by “Stay and Play”.  We hope that you will also be able to help with the costumes. Please send your costumes in by Monday.

FS1 were invited to the Year 1 Assembly on Tuesday this week and they really did us proud, sitting beautifully and following Year One telling the stories of “The Giraffe who came to tea” and “Peace at last”. Everyone was so impressed.

It has been very cold this week, so remember to bring in mittens, scarves & hats and warm coats, so that we can go outside for a short while for some fresh air and a good run around.

Snack next week: Tuna & sweet corn wraps, sponge and custard, rice cakes & Philly and cucumber, “Stay and Play” snack, muffins and jam.

Dates for your calendar:

  • Remember that FS1 finishes at 12.30 on Friday 19th December and that there is NO afternoon EDC that day.
  • Spring term will start on Tuesday 6th January as Monday 5th January is an Inset day for teachers and the school will be closed.

Thank you for your support, The FS1 Team
