We hope you have all had a lovely half term holiday. The children have come back into school refreshed and eager to learn. This week we have been busy writing our holiday news. The children have been telling us all about their different adventures they have had and then writing a sentence using capital letters and full stops. We have also been practising how to put finger spaces in our writing.

Our Forest School session this week involved the children taking part in a ‘Texture Trail’. The children used our outside environment to touch and collect as many different textures they could find! Whilst sharing our findings with each other outside, the chickens paid us a visit and we had the opportunity to say hello and touch them as well!
Next week we are going to be learning all about Chinese New Year. We will be learning all about Chinese customs and making and trying some Chinese food.
On Thursday 12th March we will be having a “Mother’s Day Tea Party” Stay and Play session in FS2 at 10.30-11.30am.
Have a lovely weekend
Best wishes from the FS2 team
