Year FS2 Week 11 2015

This week the children have been very busy following instructions making some lovely surprises for Mother’s Day. We hope you all enjoy them!

Next week we will be learning about the story of The Very Hungry Caterpillar, and we will be finding out about the life cycle of a caterpillar. Our very own caterpillars have arrived and the children are watching them as they grow each day. The children are very excited as we will be going on our first trio to the butterfly park on Thursday 19th March to look at all the lovely butterflies. Please can we remind you that the children will need to bring a packed lunch and a coat, and will need to wear their school uniform.

Red Nose Day
Many thanks for all of your contributions for comic relief the children looked fantastic with their funny faces and noses.

As part of our school behaviour policy the children can earn Golden Time on a Friday afternoon. During this time there are a range of activities for the children to take part in as a reward for following the school rules. As the children do not normally bring toys into school, they have suggested that they would like to be able to bring in their own toys as an activity. We are happy to follow this request and suggest that if the children want to bring a toy into school on a Friday for Golden Time that they (and you!) choose wisely as it will be their responsibility to look after it.

Have a lovely weekend!
Best wishes from the FS2 team
