Year FS1 Week 15 2015

Dear Parents/Carers.

We hope that everyone had a fantastic Easter break. Welcome back to a new term and a special welcome to our new starters to FS1. We know that the children will settle in very quickly and really enjoy all their new experiences in FS1.

It has been a lovely warm start to the term, but please remember it is still early Spring and that the weather can change very quickly. Please make sure that the children come to school with coats on cooler days so that we can still go outside to play. The children also still need to have wellies in school for wet days. Thank you.

Don’t forget the school library will be open on Fridays for FS1 children and their parents from 12.00 to 1.00 pm. and also from 3.00 to 4.00 pm. Do come along.

Next week we will start our new topic about Spring time and growing and we will be using the story “Jack and the beanstalk” for growing our own beans, counting and measuring and for telling our own versions of the traditional tale. If you do have a particularly good version of the story, please bring it in so that we can share it together.

Snack next week: Yoghurt's & biscuits, breadsticks and dips, rolls and cheese, savoury platter and muesli biscuits.

Dates for your calendar:
We break up for half term on Friday 22nd May at normal times and return to school on Monday 1st June. Please note that the school will be closed for an INSET day on Friday 26th June. For more information, please see the school website www.bielefeldschool.com

Thank you for your support,
The FS1 Team
