Year 3 Week 22 2015

This week in English we finished off our speeches in preparation for the main event ‘Theseus versus the Minotaur!’ that will take place next week.

Mr. Kerray’s mathematics group this week have worked on multiplication and division by 6 and finding a sixth of numbers.
Mr. Askew’s group have used different strategies for subtracting – including number lines and counting on.

Due to our trip to the ice cream parlour this week there was no RE or Computing.
Mr Fidler has continued the sculpture project with the children.
In music Mr Reeves continued his ukulele project.
We look forward to seeing many of you at the Children’s University graduation ceremony.

Homework: some Maths and English this week.

Please remember a daily reading session of about 10 minutes will really help your child’s progress. Also a few questions about what they have read will help aid comprehension.
Please bring in P.E kits on Monday - these will be sent home on Fridays.

Many Thanks for your continued support!
Mr Askew, Mr Kerray, Mrs Jefferys and Mrs Baker.
