Head Teacher's Message - 12 Feb 16

Year 2 has been photographing fire.
Here is one of the children's photographs.
At the end of last week, Mrs. Durban organised our annual carnival disco. I thank all of the staff who supported this event, especially our fabulous DJ, Mr. Askew.

Despite the weather this week, we held our own carnival assembly and parade. There were plenty of inventive costumes on display and the children enjoyed the chance to show them off.

I have added some photographs of our carnival events to the back of this week's newsletter, for you to see. Please check you inboxes.

The Number Day event was a huge success. Together, we raised €556.81. Thank you!

Year 4 visiting the BFBS Studios at Paderborn today.
Thank you BFBS!

Years 3 and 4 took part in Potted Sports this week, alongside the other local primary schools. We received an email complementing our children on their excellent sportsmanship. Well done children!

Mrs. Carroll organised an e-safety session for parents and carers this week, which we hope you found useful. If you were not able to attend and would like further information, please let us know.

I hope that you all have a relaxing half term and I look forward to seeing you on Monday 22nd February.

Keep practising your reading children and, for those of you in KS 2, don’t forget your times tables.

Have a good holiday,

Mrs. Mason.

PS We have 2 vacancies at Bielefeld School. One is in for an Office Assistant and another (upcoming) is for a Learning Support Assistant. Check the GLSU website daily for updates.
