Head Teacher's message May 12th 2016

Dear parents, carers and children,

This week our Year 6 children have completed their national tests in reading, grammar, spelling and mathematics. I would like to tell them that they have been absolute stars. I have been very impressed with their positive attitude and their determination to do well. Thanks to all staff and parents who have also supported the children.

During a school governors meeting this week we looked at the test papers and discussed how expectations of Year 6 have increased under the new National Curriculum. It is a credit to our children that they approached the tests with such resilience. The test results will be returned to the school in July and we will be reporting to parents as part of the children’s annual report.
