Headteacher's Message 24th June 2016

Dear parents, carers and children,

We enjoyed a royal day with our KS 1 children this week. Alex took charge as Year 6 marched under the watchful eye of Lt Colonel Christie and WO1 (RSM) Nicholson. The Gutersloh Music Centre band played a variety of tunes and also accompanied the children in renditions of Rule Britannia and God Save the Queen. KS1 children then enjoyed a street party finished off by a superb cake!

Message from the library

This year’s Summer Reading Challenge starts next week. The theme is ‘The Big Friendly Read’, relating to Roald Dahl and the Quentin Blake illustrations. The children have to read 6 books over the summer to receive collector’s cards and prizes. They will receive a certificate and medal at the end of the summer.

Have a good weekend
