Headteacher's Message July 8th 2016

Dear parents, children and carers,

Last week I had the pleasure of watching this year’s Children’s University graduates receive their certificates.  We have mounted the children’s photographs on our wall of fame for you to see. Thank you to all of you for your support of extra-curricular activities.

This week I enjoyed a music lesson with Mr Reeves and the Year 4 children. As you can see below we also had a number of parents taking part. Mr Reeves explained how the class had built up their guitar skills. The children then coached their parents. I have to say it was an interesting experience to be a pupil again!

I have also been watching the art exhibition evolve. I hope you will be able to come into school next Wednesday to see the children’s art work. Please feel free to get your child from the classrooms and they can act as your guide. There will be tea and coffee available in the hall.

Y4 acted as coaches this week and showed their parents how to play the guitar when they joined in a music lesson

Well done to the whole school for being the runner up in the Enthuse awards for the best primary school for science teaching and learning in the UK! WOW.
