Head Teacher's Message 10th March 2017

Weekly Round Up

Dear parents and children,

We would like to say a huge thank you to all the parents who supported the Usborne book fair during world book day.  As a result of your support, school gained €425 worth of free children's books from Usborne to add to our classrooms and library.  Happy reading children!

The School Council have started preparing for Wear a Hat Day by making posters to advertise the event. Badges (1 Euro) and wrist bands (2 Euro) are currently on sale in school. Put the date in your diary (31st March) as it promises to be a super day.

World Book Day 2017

Many thanks to all the parents who have emailed me photos of their children and/or themselves picking up a book. We would love some more to add to our display, so if you have any photos showing yourselves, your children or any relatives busy reading (or you can snap one this week) please email it to myself at kelly.graham@modschools.org

There are book prizes for the best ones! Prizes will be handed out in assembly on Monday 20th March.

Miss Graham.

Who Am I?

The answer to this week's question is Marie Curie that came from Poland.  Well done the Red Team for getting the most correct answers!

This week's question...

WHO AM I, WHERE AM I FROM?

German Phrase of the week

Wie bitte?
I beg your pardon?

Have a good weekend
