Head Teacher's post 14th July 2017

Dear parents and children,
It is the penultimate week of the year and your children will be coming home with their school report. We hope that you enjoy reading these (especially your child’s comments.) You may notice that we have changed the reporting format this year to incorporate a clearer view of your child’s progress towards national expectations and a paragraph describing your child’s characteristics as a learner. This builds upon the work on growth mind sets we have been carrying out this year. I look forward to seeing you on Tuesday for the class transition morning where you will have a chance to meet your child’s new teacher and join in with activities.

Summer Reading Challenge

The team from Catterick barracks library spoke to the children about Animal Agents Summer Reading challenge on Tuesday - an initiative sponsored by Arts Council England.
Please make sure that you and your children sign up for this mystery tour. Read the books, join in the challenge, and solve the mystery!

Leaflets giving information have been handed out to all children this week. For more information and to sign up, why not pop along to our library on Catterick barracks. It's free, fun and educational for all! See the link below: https://summerreadingchallenge.org.uk/
