Headteacher's Message October 20th 2017

Dear parents and children,

It has certainly been a sunny finish to the half term and fingers crossed we may get some good weather during the break. Thank you for supporting this week’s parents meetings. It was always lovely to meet so many of you and I hope you found the information useful.
Finally looking ahead to next term I have put key dates on the back of this newsletter and on the calendar on our website.

Have a good weekend.
Mrs Mason

Last week, Mrs Pond Barrett was  invitated to one of the Brain Tumour Research's Centres of Excellence at Queen Mary University hospital in London.
This was in recognition of the incredible fundraising she and the school did during 'Wear a Hat' day back in March.  The money we raised paid for a day of vital research at one of their centres of Excellence. Please click on the link to read more.

Football Tournament.

Well done to our year group football teams who this week participated in the schools tournament. We were very proud to witness such teamwork and sportsmanship! Here is the hot (and muddy) Year 5 team with their medals.

Well done Year 2 and Year 6 for the best attendance this week

Well done Imogen for writing an article about STEM day which was published in Sixth Sense. The school agreed that you should earn 50 team points.
