Headteachers Message May 4th 2018

                                            Message from the Headteacher

Dear Parents
It’s been a lovely week in school this week with all the children enjoying a performance and demonstration by the ‘Pipes and Drums’ musicians. I’m sure all parents will be thrilled to hear that we have some avid drummers amongst our children!

I’ve enjoyed spending some time with Y2 and Y3 this week, thinking about what happens when we learn and how we sometimes feel when we fail at things. There are some great ideas and understanding of how a ‘Growth Mindset’ can help us.

Thank you to all the Y5 parents who were able to make the residential meeting this week, not long now until Y5 get to sample the delights of Kรถln!

After school clubs also kicked off this week and I’d like to thank all the teachers and TAs who have made them happen!

Wishing you all a wonderful weekend,

Kelly Reeves

This term's whole school theme "Out and About" was launched on Wednesday. Mrs Russell shared a key question for each year group, which will drive the children's learning this term.
